In a for profit company taxable wealth is distributed to its shareholders and employees. Seacoast Oil is a nonprofit organization. We do not seek wealth, we exist to provide service to benefit the community of the New Hampshire seacoast.
Q: How does Seacoast Oil Coop plan to save me money?
The dedicated staff of seacoast oil plans to negotiate with oil distributors. We intend on acting as the middleman between distributors and our members by negotiating bulk order contracts. By purchasing your oil directly through a distributor, you possible could be paying too much for oil since we have negotiated buying power. Let us take your individual oil demands along with the demands of others in our community. We will bring them to local oil distributors and work to offer a fair and reasonable price for your winter oil needs.
Q: What about insurance?
Insurance is not necessary in order to cooperate with Seacoast Oil.
Q: What about propane?
Propane will not be offered in the first year but we are planning on adding it soon after the first year.
